THE G! TRUE TINSELTOWN
TALE: DUDE, WHERE'S MY CAR?
A parody of both "The E! True
Hollywood Story" cable television series as well as the 2000
film "Dude, Where's My Car?" released by 20th Century Fox,
where we take a phony “behind-the-scenes” look at the making
of "Dude, Where's My Car?" from the hilarious hijinks on
screen to the deadly hijinks off screen.
Ashton Kutcher (Tal L. Kapelner, left), and Seann William
Scott (Cheryl Francis Harrington), as Jesse and Chester,
two goofy teenage kids who captured the angst of their
generation and the timeless ignominy of loss and love
through the fruitless search for their car.
The producers of “Dude, Where’s My Car?” could have cast
someone to play the character of Jesse who didn’t have
as strong of a dance background, but they knew if they
settled for anything less than the dynamism and work
ethic of Ashton Kutcher (Tal L. Kapelner) they would be
letting screenwriter Philip Stark’s vision down.
